🌹 Rose Giving Yellow Cheer To All

[Professor Landon Carter]

Landon was more than happy to be delivering roses to all of his students. The previous time he had done it was lots of fun, and he was excited to see some more smiles on faces. The man had a yellow rose for a Slytherin, and Landon thought the perfect place to try and find him was the Slytherin table during breakfast time, and so Landon hung around a little with his basket of roses, keeping an eye out for the boy. "Does anyone know where Dante is? Dante Styx?" he said to no one in particular, as he looked through the crowd that was just growing thicker.

 

[Dante Styx]

Dante Styx was eating a sandwich when he heard a name. A professor no less. He did not want to announce himself, but since it was the Herbology professor, Dante slowly raised his hand to announce his presence in some way.​

 

[Professor Landon Carter]

As Landon saw a hand go up, he beamed as he recognised Dante. He made his way over there, a smile on his face. "Good morning Dante! How are you today?" he asked, wondering if Dante had received any other roses yet. He was sure Dante had many more roses than the one Landon was about to give him. Reaching into his basket, Professor Carter pulled out a bright yellow rose with a note hanging off its stem. "This is for you. Happy Valentine's Day!"

"Just fine, professor?" Dante said slowly, since he did not know why Professor Carter was delivering roses. He took the rose and the note, and read it. He sent her a pink rose, but maybe she was not aware of how he might have felt. Dante just smiled and nodded at the professor. "Um, thanks."​
